Andrea Z. Warmbier focuses her practice primarily in the area of chemical patents. Prior to joining Price Heneveld® in 2005, she worked as a Summer Associate at a Southfield, Michigan law firm and as a Research Assistant for both a professor of intellectual property and a professor of contracts law. Andrea also served as an Intern for the Honourable Paul Macklin, P.C., Parliamentary Secretary to the Minister of Justice and Attorney General of Canada. In May 2005, she graduated cum laude from Michigan State University College of Law and received her Juris Doctorate degree with a concentration in Intellectual Property and Communications Law. She also received a B.S. in Biochemistry and a B.A. in Chemistry, with a minor in Spanish, from Virginia Polytechnic Institute and State University in 2002. Registered to practice before the U.S. Patent and Trademark office, she is also admitted to the State Bar of Michigan and is a member of the American Bar Association, Grand Rapids Bar Association, Great Lakes Chapter of Product Development and Management Association, and Inforum - West Michigan.
