Paul Rodriguez concentrates his practice on procurement and enforcement of patents for mechanical inventions, trademark procurement, and mechanical patent litigation. Prior to joining Price Heneveld, Mr. Rodriguez gained valuable experience as a law clerk at a Chicago law firm.
Prior to attending law school, he also worked as a test engineer/conductor at Moog Inc.’s Chatsworth Operations in Chatsworth, CA. Mr. Rodriguez received a B.S. degree in mechanical engineering from the University of Michigan in 2004 and a J.D. degree from DePaul University College of Law in Chicago in 2008 where he earned a certificate in intellectual property in patent law. As an undergraduate student, he was a member of the American Society of Mechanical Engineers and, as a law student, he was a member of the Intellectual Property Law Society and the Intellectual Property Legal Writing Program. He is registered to practice before the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office and is admitted to the State Bar of Michigan. Mr. Rodriguez is also admitted to practice before the Federal District Court for the Western District of Michigan. He is also currently a member of the American Intellectual Property Law Association and the Grand Rapids Bar Association
(Intellectual Property and Young Lawyers Sections).
