[Updated] Governor Whitmer orders all “non-essential” Michigan businesses to close their doors
[UPDATE: The Executive Order was lifted on Monday, June 1st, 2020. Price Heneveld is resuming full in-office operations on Thursday, June 4th, 2020.]
On March 23rd, 2020, the Governor of Michigan, Gretchen Whitmer, issued an Executive Order directing all non-essential businesses to close. Michigan residents were ordered to stay in their homes and only conduct essential travel in order to combat the spread of COVID-19 in Michigan. The Order has been extended to be effective through Friday, June 12th. Price Heneveld is complying with this order and will close its physical office until Monday, June 15th.
We have implemented a policy where attorneys, agents, and some of our professional staff are working remotely during this time. Our IT infrastructure has been tested and is capable of handling the need of our professionals to work off-site. Our clients will continue to receive reminders and correspondence from us. We will continue monitoring deadlines we are aware of and will handle all matters as usual, without interruption. Price Heneveld is committed to our clients and we plan on providing the same service as we always have.
