Price Heneveld LLP congratulates Alyssa Barksdale on becoming a member of the State Bar of Michigan and the newest associate of the firm.

Intellectual property law firm Price Heneveld LLP congratulates its newest member, M. Alyssa Barksdale, on passing the July 2017 Michigan Bar Exam. Alyssa became an official member of the State Bar of Michigan on November 3rd, 2017 in a swearing-in ceremony held by the Grand Rapids Bar Association in Grand Rapids, MI.

Alyssa Barksdale joined Price Heneveld as a Law Clerk after earning her Juris Doctorate from the University of Alabama School of Law in 2017. She earned both her Bachelor of Science and Master of Engineering degrees in Civil Engineering from Mississippi State University. During both her undergraduate and graduate careers, Alyssa served as a research assistant in the Construction Materials Research Center, where she performed lab specimen testing, data collection, and analysis in connection with research on various materials for construction projects. As a law student at the University of Alabama, she acted as Co-Chair of the Student Bar Association Election Committee for two years, and she served as a Moot Court Campbell Board Member, an Intellectual Property Moot Court Team Member, and Secretary of the IP Law Society.
