Kevin Grzelak’s practice includes all areas of intellectual property including patent, trademark and copyright matters. His focus is in the procurement, licensing and enforcement of patents for electrical and computer hardware and software-related inventions, electrical controls, automotive electronics, electrochemical cells, optical signal devices, manufacturing systems and methods, and mechanical devices and the procurement and enforcement of trademarks. Kevin earned a J.D. from the Michigan State University (Detroit) College of Law and a B.S. in electrical engineering from Michigan Technological University. He is registered to practice before the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office and is admitted to the State bar of Michigan. Prior to joining the firm, Kevin practiced as a patent agent and an associate attorney at a prestigious intellectual property firm in Detroit. He is a member of the American Intellectual Property Law Association, the Michigan Patent Law Association, and the American and Grand Rapids Bar Associations. Kevin also serves as president of the Michigan Technological University West Michigan Chapter Alumni Association.
