Alyssa Sherry joined Price Heneveld as an associate in 2025 after beginning her legal career as a patent litigator at a Washington D.C.-based boutique firm. Alyssa has since developed a comprehensive intellectual property practice spanning the full lifecycle of patent matters from preparing initial patentability evaluations and drafting and prosecuting patent applications to analyzing issued patents for infringement and invalidity, managing discovery and depositions, and drafting responsive motions and pleadings in patent disputes before federal district courts. Her work involves a wide range of technologies, such as data communications and storage, optical fibers, coatings, medical devices, home appliances, and vehicle systems.

Alyssa graduated from The Ohio State University with a B.S. in Chemistry and from Arizona State University with a M.S. in Chemistry. Prior to attending law school, Alyssa conducted chemical research in organic synthesis, electrocatalytic modelling, and geochemical analysis. While at Arizona State, Alyssa was a member of the Intellectual Property Law Student Association and the Patent Drafting Moot Court Team. Alyssa also served as an executive editor for the Jurimetrics Journal.
