ABOUT CHRISTOPHER
Christopher Addonizio is a registered patent agent. Christopher focuses on drafting utility patent applications and U.S. and foreign patent prosecution, as well as provides searching and support for patentability, validity, and right to use analysis. His fields of expertise include chemical, biological, molecular, pharmaceutical, and bioengineering related areas.
Christopher earned his Bachelor of Science in Chemical Engineering with a concentration in Bioengineering from Rowan University in 2017 and a Ph.D. from University of Notre Dame in 2023. He has almost a decade of laboratory research experience at Rowan, Notre Dame, and fellowship work at the University of Delaware. His doctoral research focused on molecular wet adhesion, molecular interactions of dynamic soft materials, and the development of drug delivery platforms utilizing high-affinity molecular recognition resulting in ten academic publications. His research also allowed him to further develop skills in organic, analytical, and supramolecular chemistry. While studying, Christopher gained skills in bioengineering, specifically in mammalian and bacterial cell culturing, tissue engineering, and peptide synthesis and self-assembly.
Christopher combines his technical expertise with strong communication skills to work closely with inventors during patent preparation. His diverse background enables him to navigate and address a wide range of clients’ technologies.
